I'd like to see a homeschooling club set up. Right now, the only ones I see around here are religion-based. Though I have my own religious beliefs, that's not why I'm homeschooling and I don't want to be mired in it. So, I believe the library would be the perfect avenue for an all inclusive homeschooling group. Plus I miss getting e-mailed when my books are overdue. Really like that there's better parking now.
Would like to receive emails to say when books are due or at least stamp the book the old fashion way b/c paper slipped gets lost easily. SIUE does both- research there computer program to see how they are able to do it and the cost
I'd like to be able to renew online.
Getting emailed when books are overdue would be a really nice bonus..sometimes when we drop off in the overnight box, if we are missing one and don't come back for a month, there is an unexpected fine!
I have a young child who loves to venture around the children's section of the library. He's only 2, so he needs constant supervision. Last time we visited I asked one of the library staff members if they could find a book for me while i chased my son and they said they could not do it. Trips to the library are a treat for us, but when 'mom' wants a book, it would help a lot if the staff were actally willing to help.
